After a defensive mix-up in Paraná Clube Brasil's zone, Luiz Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Furino came out of the goal and Luiz Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otávio Linhares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Felipillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Arlindo Silveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Otávio Linhares. That made the score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. Club Athletic Warszaw's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Isidoro Felipillo scored to the left of an out of position Otávio Linhares, making the score, 4-0. Otávio Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Felipillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovani Batista got free with Otávio Linhares in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Athletic Warszaw's Otávio Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Silveira in the 29th minute of play. When Armandinho Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Athletic Warszaw's protests and gave Armandinho Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. Armandinho Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Otávio Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Felipillo in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Club Athletic Warszaw defense, Arlindo Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otávio Linhares. The Club Athletic Warszaw fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otávio Linhares should have stopped the shot. Ronaldo Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Paraná Clube Brasil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
