Flamengo FSCMZ's Vitinho Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when Atlético de Crisal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chico Carneiro took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Maranhense. Cristiano Maranhense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cristiano Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Celso Nascimento scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamim Saraiva went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wágner Vergílio during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celso Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cristiano Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Nascimento in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristiano Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Saraiva in the 45th minute of play. Igor Rocha scored 1-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitinho Bastos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Atlético de Crisal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Flamengo FSCMZ were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Joaquim Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flamengo FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético de Crisal the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Nascimento in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Maranhense saved Atlético de Crisal from getting behind. Atlético de Crisal's Cristiano Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Carneiro in the 69th minute of play. Cristiano Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Carneiro in the 72nd minute of play. Benjamim Saraiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cristiano Maranhense made a huge save. After 80 played minutes Atlético de Crisal got a freekick which was hit by Guga Nunes. After 83 played minutes Atlético de Crisal got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Vander. A hard shot 85 in the game by Chico Carneiro from a close distance when the talented Cristiano Maranhense managed to make a qualified save. Atlético de Crisal's players were relieved. Flamengo FSCMZ's Vitinho Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Barral in the 87th minute of play. Vitinho Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitinho Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Rocha in the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Flamengo FSCMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
