Zemantauskas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maurinho Albuquerque in the 10th minute. In the 15th play minute Walmyr de Andrade came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Almir Cruz. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Walmyr de Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Almir Cruz. Zemantauskas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmyr de Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Zemantauskas FC's Almir Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Zemantauskas FC from getting a goal against them. After 21 minutes, Rubens Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zemantauskas FC and the ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silas Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Mendes. Joel de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Silas Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zemantauskas FC the free kick. After 41 played minutes ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Silas Pires. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Tadeu Prado was substituted for Edvaldo Pires. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Ronaldinho Paranaense was substituted for Haroldo Mineiro. Mathias Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Cruz having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Walmyr de Andrade made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgard Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Paranaense came free, but Almir Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silas Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Almir Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Cleiton Xavier. After a defensive mix-up in Zemantauskas FC's zone, Walmyr de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir Cruz came out of the goal and Walmyr de Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Silas Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ had played much better football throughout.
