Benedito Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Atlético de Crisal's Guga Nunes suffered a concussion after 14 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olívio Viana during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Viana to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ booed when Atlético de Crisal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ. After a rather tough play, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Hernani Sá got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Marcinho Donato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edmundo França charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Atlético de Crisal getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Edmundo França hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Marcinho Donato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Benedito Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olívio Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedito Meira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. During the 47th minute of the match Edmundo França completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edmundo França a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Edmundo França kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hernani Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Benedito Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Atlético de Crisal got a freekick which was hit by Igor Rocha. The long shot by Tony Tasso in the 59th minute really tested Benedito Meira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 60th minute Marcinho Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Rocha hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Atlético de Crisal's Benedito Meira got control of the ball when Hernani Sá tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético de Crisal's zone, Olívio Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedito Meira came out of the goal and Olívio Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Olívio Viana sped through Atlético de Crisal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benedito Meira. Atlético de Crisal's attentive Ciro Vander managed to snatch the ball when Chicão Peres made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Atlético de Crisal's goalkeeper Benedito Meira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernani Sá. Ian Netto in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benedito Meira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mateus Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateus Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benedito Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
