An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Ferreira in the 4th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Vitinho Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Zemantauskas FC booed when Flamengo FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Chico Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chico Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitinho Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Ferreira in the 10th minute of play. Celso Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Almir Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílton Ferreira took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitinho Bastos. Vitinho Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 21st minute Celso Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Zemantauskas FC booed when Flamengo FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Chico Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almir Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flamengo FSCMZ's Chico Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celso Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Almir Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's Téo Luz got a free kick in the 40th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Celso Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Almir Cruz. Zemantauskas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 56th minute of the match Eriberto Schmidt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Almir Cruz skillfully saved the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's Celso Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Flamengo FSCMZ's Celso Nascimento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Amílton Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílton Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almir Cruz came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo FSCMZ's Celso Nascimento. But to his dismay, Celso Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Celso Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Nascimento took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Almir Cruz. Almir Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Téo Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Amílton Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Vitinho Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zemantauskas FC. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flamengo FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
