The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Pahucki in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's zone, Oğuz Kakisim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Baptista came out of the goal and Oğuz Kakisim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Pahucki came free, but Carlos Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Ahmet Çelik in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Gani Tuluk. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Kazimierz Pahucki managed to get in a good position for a shot. GEOMATİC FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kazimierz Pahucki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ersen Bumba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Çakır Alyakut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GEOMATİC FK's Çakır Alyakut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersen Bumba in the 44th minute of play. Ersen Bumba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Çakır Alyakut firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Carlos Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Pahucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Pahucki came free, but Carlos Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Pahucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Çakır Alyakut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ersen Bumba in the 61st minute of the match. After 63 played minutes ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ got a freekick which was hit by Burak Demirsoy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Pahucki in the 64th minute of play forced ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goalkeeper Carlos Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çağlar Demirer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ booed when GEOMATİC FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Pahucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ersen Bumba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oğuz Kakisim in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Baptista saved ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Paşa İşçen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ömer Kakisim during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ömer Kakisim hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ersen Bumba might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çakır Alyakut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julio Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Carlos Baptista acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Birger Rochat. Carlos Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağlar Demirer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
