With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Lynch in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrique Prata saved Grêmio Bulls from getting behind. Internazionale-RS's Karl-Erik Hellström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Internazionale-RS from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Grêmio Bulls's Wei Shu Gang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl-Erik Hellström. Karl-Erik Hellström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Karl-Erik Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei Shu Gang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Erik Hellström made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Andreas Vokurka sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Grêmio Bulls getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sunday Skinas hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Vokurka got free with Karl-Erik Hellström in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Lynch in the 32nd minute of the match. Internazionale-RS's Karl-Erik Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Vokurka in the 33rd minute of play. Andreas Vokurka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Karl-Erik Hellström made a huge save. With a little luck, Internazionale-RS's Karl-Erik Hellström got control of the ball when Andreas Vokurka tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Wei Shu Gang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Erik Hellström. The goal made the score 2-2. Rogelio Lynch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Henrique Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andreas Vokurka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
