Grêmio Bulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Lehen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wei Shu Gang took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Romulo Lehen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson do Vale having to interfere. Nilson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Vokurka in the 46th minute of the match. Henrique Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Garcia in the 47th minute of the match.

In the 50th match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Brasil to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Bandelocos's Anísio Teixeira to fire away a dangerous shot which Henrique Prata despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Grêmio Bulls players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
