The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Vokurka got free with Eugenio Asier in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugenio Asier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Vokurka, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Wei Shu Gang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Asier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Grêmio Bulls got a corner. Grêmio 20 Julho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Grêmio Bulls's Andreas Vokurka to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugenio Asier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio Bulls's Wei Shu Gang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eugenio Asier. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Daniel Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Grêmio Bulls booed when Grêmio 20 Julho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar de Amaral was the one to do the kick off. In the 83rdth minute of the game Valdemar de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastião Tróia got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Celso Furtado. The supporters of Grêmio 20 Julho booed when Grêmio Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoff Mullen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Grêmio 20 Julho had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
