In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

S.C.CHUÍ made a substitution. Caetano Paranaense replaced Luiz Pereira. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joris Scheer to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Scheer came free, but Yuri Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
