The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Asier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wellington Nóbrega was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, Grêmio 20 Julho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Montevideo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grêmio 20 Julho.
