Bandelocos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Leo Iigo scored to the left of an out of position Nilson do Vale, making the score, 1-0. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Christian Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Vargas in the 12th minute of play. Nilson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 13th minute of the match. Valdir Garcia struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Christian Orlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandelocos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Iigo got free with Nilson do Vale in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilson do Vale was a little too slow when Zhuo Chao Chuan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Zhuo Chao Chuan made the kick off in the second half. Christian Orlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdir Garcia in the 51st minute. 56 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Brasil. Christian Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Dowdall in the 60th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bater Palma to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Vargas couldn't finish the play. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Garcia in the 79th minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Christian Orlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting a goal against them. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Iigo in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Leo Iigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Iigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Billy Dowdall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Christian Orlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Zhuo Chao Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
