A sloppy throw-in by Amado Parente in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LOBO 1908's Jurgen Iwens. Adilson Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Stig-Åke Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Benjamin de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Braga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Laçın Cumayev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Amado Parente hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Braga booed when LOBO 1908 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fergus Forester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortunato Bobbio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Jon-Egil Sætre kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Jurgen Iwens came free, but Laçın Cumayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, LOBO 1908 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Britto to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes Charl De Metser shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for LOBO 1908's Adilson Moraes to catch but Charl De Metser was lucky. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Laçın Cumayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Ixidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas was substituted for Stig-Åke Mattsson. After a rather tough play, LOBO 1908's Fortunato Bobbio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Alberto Malheiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adilson Moraes. LOBO 1908's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, SC Braga's Adilson Moraes threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zigmantas Gimbutas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adilson Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zigmantas Gimbutas's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Charl De Metser kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Laçın Cumayev came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by LOBO 1908's Prudencio Ixidor. But to his dismay, Prudencio Ixidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Prudencio Ixidor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laçın Cumayev having to make a save. In the 91st minute, Prudencio Ixidor made a precise shot to the right of Laçın Cumayev. SC Braga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LOBO 1908 fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Braga had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
