The shot was a little too simple and Adilson Moraes could save by the left post. 10 minutes into the game, Matanza and Steelers's César Lucas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adilson Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Bezerra came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adilson Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Aaron Tello notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of LOBO 1908's Adilson Moraes. Adilson Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Lucas in the 19th minute of play forced LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Adilson Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Bezerra in the 21st minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrico Herzog got free with Adilson Moraes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adilson Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Paulão Bezerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Renan Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Renan Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LOBO 1908 were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Matanza and Steelers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeremias Tande took the corner. Ernani Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan Mendes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernani Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Matanza and Steelers's Adilson Moraes threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leysus Oktavianus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 42 minutes, Ernani Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOBO 1908's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Montenegro in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
Matanza and Steelers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Ernani Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Renan Mendes, making the score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Lucas in the 56th minute of play forced LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Adilson Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Leysus Oktavianus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOBO 1908's Adilson Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adilson Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrico Herzog in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Ixidor in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Mendes saved Matanza and Steelers from getting behind. Leysus Oktavianus hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Matanza and Steelers made a substitution. Wiliam Peixoto replaced Aaron Tello. In the 73rd match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leysus Oktavianus to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Ixidor got free with Renan Mendes in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prudencio Ixidor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Renan Mendes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Renan Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Ixidor in the 89th minute of play. Prudencio Ixidor struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Renan Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOBO 1908. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
