Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Pinheiro in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Nazario Serre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josué Pinheiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Ismael Nazario Serre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar de Moraes made a kick off. The corner led Matungo Gaúcho's 龙森景 to fire away a dangerous shot which Ismael Nazario Serre despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 72 minutes of play, Matungo Gaúcho's Josué Pinheiro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Nazario Serre was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Josué Pinheiro put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Nazario Serre. Ismael Nazario Serre was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Matungo Gaúcho fans cheered their team off the field, for while Papunhas EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
