Renan Mendes made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Luiz Fabiano Lima sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute of the match, Thomas Hasselqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Renan Mendes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 27 minutes of play, Jurassic Monsters SA's Luiz Fabiano Lima made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renan Mendes made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Thomas Hasselqvist sent off a good shot on target. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Grandis in the 33rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Jurassic Monsters SA's Renan Mendes threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Grandis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yiğitcan İstanbullu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Lucas in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fabiano Lima got free with Renan Mendes in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulrico Herzog stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Lucas in the 52nd minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İstanbullu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Jurassic Monsters SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jurassic Monsters SA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Matanza and Steelers for a fine match.
