Valdemar de Moraes started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Jurgen Iwens dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ismael Nazario Serre, 1-0. In the 9thth minute of the game Paulão Bezerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adilson Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 17 minutes, Paulão Bezerra made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ernani Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Montenegro in the 21st minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Papunhas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valério Linhares to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Ernani Montenegro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Valdemar de Moraes took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adilson Moraes. Adilson Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ismael Nazario Serre came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by LOBO 1908's Ernani Montenegro. But to his dismay, Ernani Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 38 minutes of play, LOBO 1908's Ernani Montenegro made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Nazario Serre was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the game, LOBO 1908's Ernani Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Nazario Serre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernani Montenegro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernani Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Nazario Serre having to interfere. Ismael Nazario Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Montenegro in the 55th minute of play. LOBO 1908's Jeremias Tande was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Nazario Serre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ernani Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Nazario Serre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernani Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. LOBO 1908's Adilson Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save LOBO 1908 from getting a goal against them. Ismael Nazario Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernani Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ismael Nazario Serre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LOBO 1908 made a substitution. Jonathan Britto replaced Jeremias Tande. LOBO 1908 made a substitution. Prudencio Ixidor replaced Ernani Montenegro. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Oswaldo Prado got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ismael Nazario Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Ixidor in the 73rd minute of the match. LOBO 1908's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jurgen Iwens in the 78th minute. Agostinho de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jurgen Iwens managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOBO 1908's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurgen Iwens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Nazario Serre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Papunhas EC defense, Prudencio Ixidor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Nazario Serre. The Papunhas EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Nazario Serre should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Ixidor in the 91st minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Ixidor came free, but Ismael Nazario Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LOBO 1908 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Papunhas EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
