Aristides Balesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Chayo in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Benito Rumaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Santos Lazcano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OLYMPIACOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Melquiades Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Brais in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Polo to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes, Ulises Eudoxio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ and the OLYMPIACOS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Eudoxio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaudencio Xabel in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Gaztea saved 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ from getting behind. Melquiades Gaztea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Camerino in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Clemente Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Erasmo Velasco got a free kick in the 35th minute. Melquiades Gaztea came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by OLYMPIACOS FC's Clemente Camerino. But to his dismay, Clemente Camerino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulises Eudoxio was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Anibal Bibiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OLYMPIACOS FC the free kick.
