Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Santos Lazcano got the match started through his kick off. Elpidio Brais might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Zoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Brais ran back to his position shaking his head. Maccabi Netanya's Raul Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Maccabi Netanya from getting a goal against them. After 5 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Etxahun. Dunixi Laurenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ovidio Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Maccabi Netanya's Zili Lederfein made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Oto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santos Lazcano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Raul Zoff skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Raul Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Lazcano in the 25th minute of play. Ovidio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dunixi Laurenciano in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadmor Netaniyahu came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Maccabi Netanya's goalkeeper Raul Zoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernabe Normando. Raul Zoff made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Santos Lazcano sent off a good shot on target. When Maccabi Netanya's Ahmet Danış Keçecioğlu in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OLYMPIACOS FC's goalie prevented a goal. Terry Silver kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Maccabi Netanya were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadmor Netaniyahu to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, OLYMPIACOS FC's Elpidio Brais got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Maccabi Netanya's Tadmor Netaniyahu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of OLYMPIACOS FC booed when Maccabi Netanya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zili Lederfein didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for OLYMPIACOS FC. Haroldo Etxahun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raul Zoff. 1-1. In the 61st minute, Santos Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Maccabi Netanya booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Brais didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dunixi Laurenciano came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Dunixi Laurenciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Oto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Santos Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Xabel kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadmor Netaniyahu came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Etxahun to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes, Tadmor Netaniyahu made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When OLYMPIACOS FC's Santos Lazcano in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maccabi Netanya's goalie prevented a goal. Maccabi Netanya played a much better game than OLYMPIACOS FC and deserved their victory. The OLYMPIACOS FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
