A throw-in in the 4th minute of the game was made by Mariano Jordy with Eric Luican as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Baldomiro Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Oterino in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki got control of the ball when Fabian Oterino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Orçun Yalınalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 played minutes Atlético Grau Piura got a freekick which was hit by Federico Moura. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Orçun Yalınalp sped through Atlético Grau Piura's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tartalo Delatorre. 20 minutes into the game, Fabian Oterino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Baldomiro Txindoki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Qian Chao Tian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Federico Moura was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Grau Piura's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 36 in the game by Fabian Oterino from a close distance when the talented Baldomiro Txindoki managed to make a qualified save. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players were relieved. Atlético Grau Piura's Fabian Oterino was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Baldomiro Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Oterino in the 38th minute of play. Tartalo Delatorre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Oterino to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's zone, Fabian Oterino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Txindoki came out of the goal and Fabian Oterino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fabian Oterino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Oterino in the 56th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tartalo Delatorre was a little too slow when Orçun Yalınalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qian Chao Tian in the 65th minute of play forced Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Tartalo Delatorre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Horhoianu made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eric Luican however managed to control. 73 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Orçun Yalınalp came free, but Tartalo Delatorre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Junior Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Junior Quintana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 86 minutes of play, Atlético Grau Piura's Junior Quintana made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Txindoki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Junior Quintana scored 5-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomiro Txindoki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Junior Quintana went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético Grau Piura.
