After having played for 43 minutes, Bartolo Basualdo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Basualdo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Bartolo Basualdo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Birila Graña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The audience was convinced that Tibor Nyilasi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Birila Graña was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Tibor Nyilasi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
