Ratko Glavak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Viñal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Maestris short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Birila Graña to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Daunte Campuzano put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ratko Glavak. Flavio Maestri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birila Graña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Deportivo Municipal were awarded a corner. Joanes Bas went to the cornerflag to take it. Dalmu Torre tried in the 18th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Birila Graña a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. In the 22nd minute Benigno Viñal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ratko Glavak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ratko Glavak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Birila Graña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Maestri in the 29th minute. Ciano Briz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ratko Glavak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daunte Campuzano in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 33rd minute of play forced Deportivo Municipal's goalkeeper Ratko Glavak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daunte Campuzano in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ratko Glavak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Firme Navarrete fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Municipal's protests and gave Firme Navarrete a yellow card for diving instead. Firme Navarrete kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Daunte Campuzano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ratko Glavak. Deportivo Municipal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daunte Campuzano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Benigno Viñal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Maestri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joanes Bas was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Municipal's players had a chance to rest. Ratko Glavak made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Jon Fuenmayor sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Flavio Maestri sped through Claretiano FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Birila Graña. In the 91st minute, Jon Fuenmayor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Maestri kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Deportivo Municipal's goalkeeper Ratko Glavak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Favila Ribadas. Claretiano FC's Birila Graña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Maestri in the 98th minute of play. The Deportivo Municipal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Claretiano FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
