An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Basualdo in the 3rd minute of play forced ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's goalkeeper Igor Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Igor Damião. Igor Damião yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Bartolo Basualdo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Igor Damião when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Damião narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dito Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Igor Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Damião narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bartolo Basualdo in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Igor Damião, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Igor Damião didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Basualdo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Igor Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Gielis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Igor Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS from getting a goal against them. Igor Damião was a little too slow when Bartolo Basualdo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Basualdo got free with Igor Damião in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Bartolo Basualdo made a precise shot to the right of Igor Damião. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Bartolo Basualdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erruki Velarroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Damião having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bob Dinamite to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Bartolo Basualdo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Bartolo Basualdo put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Igor Damião. In the 61stth minute of the game Bartolo Basualdo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Igor Damião was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bartolo Basualdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Damião. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartolo Basualdo ran back to his position shaking his head. Igor Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Basualdo in the 62nd minute of play. Igor Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Basualdo in the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS defense, Bartolo Basualdo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Damião. The ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Damião should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Joao Montanez was substituted for Erruki Velarroa. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Cris Ronaldo replaced Nils Gielis. Igor Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Nyilasi in the 76th minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Tibor Nyilasi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Igor Damião was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Igor Damião didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tibor Nyilasi went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute Tibor Nyilasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Damião came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Tibor Nyilasi. But to his dismay, Tibor Nyilasi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 90th minute, Gilberto Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Tibor Nyilasi made a precise shot to the right of Igor Damião. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. There was no doubt that Deportivo Popolizio FBC were the better team. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
