Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernanco Peso kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernanco Peso got free with Ovidio Roland in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernanco Peso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Roland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Sporting Cristal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cazimir Gogea in the 7th minute. Cazimir Gogea made a great header on Sporting Cristal's corner, it was just that Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Sporting Cristal's Ludomil Kolba got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to Sporting Cristal getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sal Grandoso hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Meder Muños cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jon Iruegas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th match minute, Sporting Cristal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gertjan De Ryck to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Björkänge took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jon Iruegas. Sporting Cristal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ovidio Roland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernanco Peso in the 31st minute. Intimos de Reynoso's Pawel Engler got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ovidio Roland made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Fernanco Peso sent off a good shot on target. The corner ended in Cazimir Gogea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland did a great save. After 37 played minutes Sporting Cristal got a freekick which was hit by Delfino Rosario. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when Sporting Cristal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gertjan De Ryck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Björkänge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jon Iruegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ovidio Roland came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Cristal's Fernanco Peso. But to his dismay, Fernanco Peso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Intimos de Reynoso defense, Fernanco Peso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Roland. The Intimos de Reynoso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Roland should have stopped the shot. Intimos de Reynoso's Erez Marica was substituted for Meder Muños. Sporting Cristal's Claudinei Suarbol was substituted for Ivon Curiel. Katia Marto made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sporting Cristal's Claudinei Suarbol. Hüseyin Turan Elçibey hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Sporting Cristal made a substitution. Frank Tassotti replaced Delfino Rosario. Sporting Cristal's Jon Iruegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Cristal from getting a goal against them. Jon Iruegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lope Quijana in the 87th minute of play. Fernanco Peso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Roland having to make a save. 91 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Fernanco Peso came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting Cristal's Ludomil Kolba got a free kick in the 91st minute. Sporting Cristal's Christian Luciano was substituted for Fernanco Peso. After 93 played minutes Sporting Cristal got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Kolba. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
