New Alianza FC's Restu Almendras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 3rd minute of play. Enrique Cassaretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, New Alianza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Restu Almendras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Enrique Cassaretto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Restu Almendras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Enrique Cassaretto scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Restu Almendras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. New Alianza FC's Restu Almendras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 20th minute of play. Enrique Cassaretto scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Restu Almendras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orlandus Alberete's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlandus Alberete helped the player get up and apologised. Orlandus Alberete kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Restu Almendras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. CD Municipal's George Forsyth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save CD Municipal from getting a goal against them. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesse Van den Ende in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Enrique Cassaretto made a precise shot to the right of Restu Almendras. New Alianza FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Anacleto Cuerva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The New Alianza FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Municipal were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Enrique Cassaretto made the kick off in the second half. Orlandus Alberete kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Enrique Cassaretto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Restu Almendras having to make a save. Restu Almendras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to New Alianza FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Orlandus Alberete hit a great ball. CD Municipal made a substitution. Tulio Andinyach replaced Evtim Kúrdzhev. CD Municipal's Gunnar Ekrot was substituted for Zlatan Molina. In the 63rd match minute, New Alianza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlandus Alberete to maneuver through the defense. Restu Almendras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Orlandus Alberete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Restu Almendras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CD Municipal were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after New Alianza FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aureliano Buendia took the corner. After 75 played minutes New Alianza FC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Cuerva. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Restu Almendras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, New Alianza FC's Restu Almendras got control of the ball when Enrique Cassaretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Restu Almendras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Enrique Cassaretto took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Restu Almendras. Restu Almendras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Tulio Andinyach got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Tulio Andinyach managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Municipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Tulio Andinyach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Restu Almendras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Alianza FC's goalkeeper Restu Almendras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Cassaretto got free with Restu Almendras in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CD Municipal were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after New Alianza FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aureliano Buendia took the corner. In the 97th minute, Tulio Andinyach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CD Municipal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
