Sixten Gernberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zakir Novruzov could save by the left post. Zakir Novruzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Ramzinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sakura Storm's Zakir Novruzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Kornasiewicz in the 10th minute of play. Marvelous Ronaldinho made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zsolt Hubina immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 17th minute of play forced Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Natalio Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Natalio Peter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zakir Novruzov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The supporters of Sakura Storm booed when Gocław Wilga Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofil Kornasiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Anthony Di Loreto fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sakura Storm's protests and gave Anthony Di Loreto a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Chazon in the 45th minute of play forced Sakura Storm's goalkeeper Zakir Novruzov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Tadeusz Dziechciowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gocław Wilga Warszawa made a substitution. Feliks Szel replaced Wincenty Walczak. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeusz Dziechciowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Gocław Wilga Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Adam Byk. In the 62nd minute Adam Chazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakir Novruzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sakura Storm's Anthony Di Loreto got a free kick in the 66th minute. Zakir Novruzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dong Yuan Feng in the 67th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Sakura Storm's Tadeusz Dziechciowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 78 played minutes Sakura Storm got a freekick which was hit by Zak Tan. In the 80th minute Gocław Wilga Warszawa were awarded a corner. Feliks Szel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Feliks Szel to fire away a dangerous shot which Zakir Novruzov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Ryszard Siekierka, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zakir Novruzov was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Sakura Storm's goal looked a bit too open when Dong Yuan Feng came free, but Zakir Novruzov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zakir Novruzov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dong Yuan Feng's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Zsolt Hubina's late challenge caught a Gocław Wilga Warszawa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zsolt Hubina helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sakura Storm's Zsolt Hubina got a free kick in the 95th minute. Gocław Wilga Warszawa were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
