Claudio Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Felipo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Monitor Huáscar booed when One Piece FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, One Piece FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Quiroga came free, but Inocencio Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Felipo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Monitor Huáscar were awarded a corner. Modestio Cañucal went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Monitor Huáscar's corner Modestio Cañucal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Inocencio Felipo quite easily take care of the ball. After 31 minutes One Piece FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Modestio Cañucal who took care of the corner kick. Inocencio Felipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Claudio Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monitor Huáscar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Quiroga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Quiroga struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Inocencio Felipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monitor Huáscar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Du Wen Wei charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Du Wen Wei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes One Piece FC got a freekick which was hit by Du Wen Wei. Claudio Quiroga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Inocencio Felipo firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, One Piece FC's Inocencio Felipo got control of the ball when Claudio Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. One Piece FC's Inocencio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Quiroga in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Felipo. One Piece FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Monitor Huáscar's Bernardinho Bala was substituted for Paulo Fallabes. Arano Murguiondo made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fausto Joseph immediately put the ball in play. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for One Piece FC! The referee gave Monitor Huáscar a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claudio Quiroga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of One Piece FC's Inocencio Felipo. 0-3. Marcelo Illanes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. Apostol Sokolov had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Salvator Sala's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Apostol Sokolov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvator Sala in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Cordeara Sanjuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes, Cordeara Sanjuan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the One Piece FC and the Monitor Huáscar players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to One Piece FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cordeara Sanjuan hit a great ball. Inocencio Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Monitor Huáscar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
