Victor Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rubén Martínez made a kick off. But to his dismay, Emerson Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Carlitos Caszely charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlitos Caszely the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Colo-Colo got a freekick which was hit by Carlitos Caszely. Rambo Ramírez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adilson Rocha went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Victor Erauso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlitos Caszely in the 93rd minute. Colo-Colo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
