Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Rafael Flamme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Furia Calamar's Rafael Flamme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Furia Calamar from getting a goal against them. Baldomero Amato struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Nery Pumpido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furia Calamar. In the 10th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Sotero in the 11th minute of the match. Rafael Flamme made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Zico Zellier sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Furia Calamar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Rafael Flamme had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Angel Alvarenga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 30th minute, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafael Flamme. Rafael Flamme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Rafael Flamme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Jansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafael Flamme, 2-0. 46 minutes into the game, Sven-Edvin Jansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rafael Flamme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Furia Calamar's Erubiel Arotza was substituted for Conrado Savion. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thierry Henry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Zico Zellier hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Amato got free with Nery Pumpido in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Flamme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thierry Henry's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Rafael Flamme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Furia Calamar's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henry came free, but Rafael Flamme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GuateFortín made a substitution. Severo Rameriz replaced Stanyo Búnkov. GuateFortín's William Villanueva was substituted for Zico Zellier. Furia Calamar made a substitution. Baldomiro Reynardo replaced Damaso Sotero. Rafael Flamme came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Thierry Henry. But to his dismay, Thierry Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Furia Calamar's Erubiel Arotza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nery Pumpido. That made the score 5-1 after 73 minutes of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Rafael Flamme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 minutes Furia Calamar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angel Alvarenga who took care of the corner kick. Thierry Henry scored 6-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Flamme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Rafael Flamme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GuateFortín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Alvarenga in the 82nd minute. The corner ended in Erubiel Arotza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido did a great save. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Thierry Henry took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Flamme. Rafael Flamme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Gong Ning Hui kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Furia Calamar's Epifanio Gagriel in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GuateFortín's goalie prevented a goal. GuateFortín were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Furia Calamar for a fine match.
