With an all-out effort, Furia Calamar's Nicolás DAndrea threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julián Quintero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In a very dangerous position, a player in Defensores del Ángel Gris fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Furia Calamar's Rafael Flamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Catranides in the 13th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Nicolás DAndrea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 15th minute, Conrado Savion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes of play, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Serafim Catranides made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Flamme was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 20 played minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Chabier. Rafael Flamme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Co Fuchs went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Chabier in the 24th minute of play forced Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Rafael Flamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 30 in the game by Damaso Sotero from a close distance when the talented Nicolás DAndrea managed to make a qualified save. Defensores del Ángel Gris's players were relieved. In the 31st minute, Conrado Savion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafim Catranides in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Flamme saved Furia Calamar from getting behind. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Gagriel in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Co Fuchs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Furia Calamar were furious when Jozef Barmoš was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Furia Calamar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Eleuterio Chabier did an outstanding performance 42 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-4 to the right of an irritated Rafael Flamme in the goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Co Fuchs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Ángel Gris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Co Fuchs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Furia Calamar made a substitution. Edgard Indar replaced Epifanio Gagriel. Furia Calamar's Erubiel Arotza was substituted for Conrado Savion. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafim Catranides was the one to do the kick off. Eleuterio Chabier struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rafael Flamme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores del Ángel Gris. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Arotza in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Co Fuchs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafael Flamme. The goal made the score 0-5. Rafael Flamme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Catranides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Indar took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolás DAndrea. Nicolás DAndrea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 68 minutes into the match, Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Rafael Flamme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafim Catranides. After some careless play in the Defensores del Ángel Gris defense, Edgard Indar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolás DAndrea. The Defensores del Ángel Gris fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolás DAndrea should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute Defensores del Ángel Gris were awarded a corner. Eleuterio Chabier went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Defensores del Ángel Gris's corner Eleuterio Chabier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafael Flamme quite easily take care of the ball. Co Fuchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Indar in the 76th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Furia Calamar were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Defensores del Ángel Gris's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kaido Saia took the corner. After taking down the ball on Furia Calamar's corner Kaido Saia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolás DAndrea quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Romulo Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolás DAndrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Indar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julián Quintero in the 91st minute of play. The Defensores del Ángel Gris supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Defensores del Ángel Gris would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
