After a rather tough play, Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903's Ediz Satvet got a free kick in the 6th minute. Rahman Akcebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artaç Ünsan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Mithat Hirfanlı notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903's Rahman Akcebe. Rahman Akcebe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cabbar Özkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Rahman Akcebe made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Ediz Satvet made a precise shot to the right of Bülent Şemsifer. Lions Of Turks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Güngör Vahapoğlu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Çağrı İzci fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903's protests and gave Çağrı İzci a yellow card for diving instead. Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903's Ediz Satvet got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes, Arif Burak Erengüç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lions Of Turks and the Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Lions Of Turks got a freekick which was hit by Arif Burak Erengüç. In the 33rd match minute, Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suat Akbora to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 46 minutes, Güngör Vahapoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güngör Vahapoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ediz Satvet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cabbar Özkan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903 booed when Lions Of Turks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlhami Özselen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 minutes, Atahan Ahioğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lions Of Turks and the Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903 booed when Lions Of Turks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atahan Ahioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Lions Of Turks's Bülent Şemsifer got control of the ball when Güngör Vahapoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mehmet Hamdi Tecen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artaç Ünsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rahman Akcebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when İlhami Özselen put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Bülent Şemsifer, was totally fooled by Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903's Gencalp Bozoğluer, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hamdi Tecen in the 91st minute of play forced Lions Of Turks's goalkeeper Bülent Şemsifer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güngör Vahapoğlu took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bülent Şemsifer. Bülent Şemsifer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Lions Of Turks's Bülent Şemsifer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediz Satvet in the 95th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Lions Of Turks got a freekick which was hit by Arif Burak Erengüç. Bülent Şemsifer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Güngör Vahapoğlu went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Kᴀᴅᴀɢᴀɴ1903 played a much better game than Lions Of Turks and deserved their victory. The Lions Of Turks players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
