In the 6th minute, Ceferino Quinteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Arnoldo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xande Cabezudo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xande Cabezudo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Joey saved Palermo from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Medina came free, but Angelino Nueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Nueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 22nd minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Angelino Nueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Anthony Bonelli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angelino Nueva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Gonzalez in the 24th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedé Gaspar. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Dedé Gaspar took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alfredo Joey to make any attempt to save it. Angelino Nueva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Mino went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Arnoldo Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Nueva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xande Cabezudo to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Anacleto Itzaina threw the ball into play from the sideline. Reko-Recko 03™'s Selman Ruzi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sven-Arne Olsson made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Anthony Bonelli. Angelino Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Selman Ruzi came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Gonzalez charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Gonzalez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Maximino Gonzalez hit a great ball. Reko-Recko 03™ made a substitution. Camilo Fresnedo replaced Dedé Gaspar. Maximino Gonzalez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva got control of the ball when Santiago Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelino Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Quinteros in the 80th minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Angelino Nueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mino in the 81st minute of play. Reko-Recko 03™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Anthony Bonelli scored to the left of an out of position Angelino Nueva, making the score, 1-2. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palermo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
