Erasmo Simão started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Simão in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Dante saved Clube Atl. Taquaritinga from getting behind. The throw-in from Fedor Delafosse in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante. Erasmo Simão took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Dante. Haroldo Dante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Breno Loyola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Falcão Sampaio. That made the score 1-1 after 12 minutes of play. Falcão Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Loyola in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Clube Atl. Taquaritinga got a freekick which was hit by Varban Pavlikyanov. A collision led to Clube Atl. Taquaritinga getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nilmar Barreto hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno Loyola in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Sampaio saved Grentino FC from getting behind. Grentino FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bo Edström took the corner. 28 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breno Loyola. Falcão Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Loyola in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Simão came free, but Haroldo Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Xacintu in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breno Loyola. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno Loyola in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Sampaio saved Grentino FC from getting behind. Fedor Delafosse kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Fedor Delafosse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Breno Loyola lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Falcão Sampaio.

If Bo Edström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Gualter Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Xacintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Délio Coutinho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fedor Delafosse in the 63 minute of the game. Breno Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Breno Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breno Loyola couldn't finish the play. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's attentive Délio Coutinho managed to snatch the ball when Fedor Delafosse made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. In the 71st minute of the game Fedor Delafosse made a throw-in which Gualter Sampaio played forward. 72 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualter Sampaio. Erasmo Simão took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Dante. Haroldo Dante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Falcão Sampaio came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Breno Loyola. But to his dismay, Breno Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Erasmo Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga had won after a very even match.
