Francana's Renan Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tana Rede in the 2nd minute of play. When A.A. Vítor Antunes went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Laerte Soeiro advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 8th minute. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dráuzio Santos hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Secco got free with Alfredinho Cavalcante in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renan Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tana Rede, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Renan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Masculier in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Fredrik Masculier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renan Melo came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Fredrik Masculier. But to his dismay, Fredrik Masculier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Charlie Boström notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante. Alfredinho Cavalcante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the game, Granadero10's Tana Rede nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renan Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Francana's zone, Tana Rede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Melo came out of the goal and Tana Rede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

In the 58th minute Tana Rede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tana Rede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrik Masculier. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tana Rede in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Melo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. Granadero10 made a substitution. Severino Messias replaced Fredrik Masculier. Severino Messias in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Renan Melo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Elliott Bergsten hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Elliott Bergsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Severino Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granadero10's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute Elliott Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Messias did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-5 to the left of a surprised Renan Melo 92 minutes into the match. Norberto Simão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Renan Melo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Granadero10's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tana Rede in the 97th minute. The Granadero10 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Granadero10 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
