Dráuzio Santos tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Alfredinho Cavalcante. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 16th minute. After some careless play in the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga defense, Tana Rede kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Dante. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Dante should have stopped the shot. Alfredinho Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Loyola came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 31 in the game by Tana Rede from a close distance when the talented Haroldo Dante managed to make a qualified save. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's players were relieved. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breno Loyola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Dráuzio Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Varban Pavlikyanov in the 51st minute of play was well struck, but Alfredinho Cavalcante made a really good save at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tana Rede in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Dante saved Clube Atl. Taquaritinga from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breno Loyola. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Varban Pavlikyanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tana Rede in the 66th minute of play forced Clube Atl. Anfilogino Polmone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredinho Cavalcante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Simão in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Norberto Simão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Dante. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Simão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
