Gualter Sampaio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes, Família Ressaca MZ's Jens-Ove Fristedt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Família Ressaca MZ reached it. After 24 minutes, Erasmo Simão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grentino FC and the Família Ressaca MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Grentino FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Erasmo Simão hit a great ball. Erasmo Simão got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After having played for 29 minutes, Gualter Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grentino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Centenales in the 31st minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Grentino FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu de Alcântara. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Centenales, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Falcão Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Centenales in the 38th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovanni Baptista to make the kick off. Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Grentino FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Família Ressaca MZ's Natalio Centenales slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Falcão Sampaio. That made the score 0-3 after 73 minutes of play. Gualter Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falcão Sampaio came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Família Ressaca MZ's Geovanni Baptista. But to his dismay, Geovanni Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Família Ressaca MZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
