Charlie Boström in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Haroldo Dante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Breno Loyola looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 10 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Loyola came free, but Renan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes A.A. Francana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Varban Pavlikyanov who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Leonel Messi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 14 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Koenig came free, but Haroldo Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Melo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Breno Loyola. But to his dismay, Breno Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 23rdth minute of the game Breno Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Breno Loyola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Melo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute of the match A.A. Francana got a corner. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francisco Secco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Francisco Secco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante did a great save. Haroldo Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Boström in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Charlie Boström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Haroldo Dante. Charlie Boström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Breno Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Koenig in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Breno Loyola made the kick off in the second half. Breno Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Renan Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, A.A. Francana's Renan Melo got control of the ball when Breno Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Breno Loyola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Melo was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Breno Loyola who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Renan Melo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Haroldo Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Bergsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Koenig hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Francisco Secco got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Breno Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Renan Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breno Loyola got free with Renan Melo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A.A. Francana's Elliott Bergsten got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haroldo Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Koenig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breno Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Renan Melo made a huge save. Anfilogino Polmone struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Renan Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atl. Taquaritinga. Breno Loyola might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Breno Loyola ran back to his position shaking his head. When A.A. Francana's Elliott Bergsten in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalie prevented a goal. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
