Reko Nybacka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Tronconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Maranhense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but João Francisco Tinoco made a huge save. Reko Nybacka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Brasil in the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carlos Fernando Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reko Nybacka was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Harold Tronconi kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Carlos Alberto Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's Harold Tronconi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reko Nybacka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Fabiano Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Harold Tronconi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio RK75 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Walmir Duarte's late challenge caught a Grêmio RK75's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmir Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Duarte. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harold Tronconi in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reko Nybacka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Soares in the 37th minute of play. Reko Nybacka came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio RK75's Harold Tronconi. But to his dismay, Harold Tronconi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harold Tronconi in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reko Nybacka saved Catugi FC from getting behind. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Walmir Pombal hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harold Tronconi in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reko Nybacka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabiano Maranhense's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but João Francisco Tinoco firmly grabbed it by the left post.

João Francisco Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Maranhense in the 53rd minute of the match. Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Maranhense in the 55th minute of play. Reko Nybacka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Tronconi in the 61st minute of play. Walmir Duarte got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Erik Sanches. João Francisco Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Maranhense in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Grêmio RK75 defense, Fabiano Maranhense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Francisco Tinoco. The Grêmio RK75 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Francisco Tinoco should have stopped the shot. Fabiano Maranhense might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Francisco Tinoco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabiano Maranhense ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Walmir Duarte hit a great ball. Reko Nybacka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Tronconi, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Reko Nybacka was a little too slow when Harold Tronconi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-3. The supporters of Grêmio RK75 booed when Catugi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Grêmio RK75 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
