Renan Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charlie Boström. Falcão Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Charlie Boström sent off a good shot on target. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Charlie Boström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Erasmo Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Koenig in the 13th minute of the match. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Bergsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Grentino FC defense, Roman Koenig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falcão Sampaio. The Grentino FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Sampaio should have stopped the shot. Falcão Sampaio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elliott Bergsten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. Elliott Bergsten scored 4-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falcão Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 24 minutes, Elliott Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A. Francana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliott Bergsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francana's Charlie Boström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Falcão Sampaio. Falcão Sampaio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Simão in the 40th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Grentino FC from getting a goal against them. Falcão Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Boström in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th minute, A.A. Francana's Charlie Boström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Falcão Sampaio. Falcão Sampaio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Simão to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Simão. After 53 minutes A.A. Francana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bo Edström who took care of the corner kick. In the 55th minute Grentino FC were awarded a corner. Bo Edström went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bo Edström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo did a great save. Renan Melo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gualter Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute Charlie Boström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Bergsten in the 70th minute of the match. Falcão Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Charlie Boström came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the A.A. Francana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Boström couldn't finish the play. Roman Koenig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Sampaio having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Koenig came free, but Falcão Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falcão Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roman Koenig went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute of the match Francisco Secco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Sampaio skillfully saved the ball. Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Campos in the 95th minute of play. A.A. Francana's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
