In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goalkeeper Magne Allbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's zone, Leonel Messi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Allbom came out of the goal and Leonel Messi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breno Loyola to make the kick off. Haroldo Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Nolan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atl. Taquaritinga from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante got control of the ball when Aníbal Brasil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Nolan in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Varban Pavlikyanov in the 72nd minute of play forced THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goalkeeper Magne Allbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Breno Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magne Allbom. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breno Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Brasil got free with Haroldo Dante in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Nolan in the 93rd minute of play. Haroldo Dante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerry Nolan went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
