Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Erasmo Simão started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's Tom Misaki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falcão Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heigo Luiga came free, but Falcão Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buford Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Buford Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Sampaio in the 14th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Gavril Bosioc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grentino FC the free kick. The supporters of Grentino FC booed when C.A.Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Bosioc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes Grentino FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu de Alcântara. Falcão Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Misaki in the 20th minute. Buford Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25thth minute of the game Tom Misaki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C.A.Independiente were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Grentino FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardino Gonsalve took the corner. Falcão Sampaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heigo Luiga's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Falcão Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heigo Luiga went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Misaki. In the 40th minute, Erasmo Simão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grentino FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Falcão Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heigo Luiga in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heigo Luiga to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim got control of the ball when Gualter Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nilton Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Øyvind Rovik hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Buford Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Simão in the 69th minute of play. Falcão Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Misaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Heigo Luiga notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio. Falcão Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute Erasmo Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buford Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buford Lim came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Grentino FC's Joaquin Xacintu. But to his dismay, Joaquin Xacintu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Falcão Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Øyvind Rovik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualter Sampaio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Buford Lim firmly grabbed it by the left post. C.A.Independiente made a substitution. Jaroslaw Psikuta replaced Nereo Frederico. In the 89th minute of the game Fedor Delafosse made a throw-in which Nereo Enol played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualter Sampaio got free with Buford Lim in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gualter Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Buford Lim made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heigo Luiga in the 96th minute of play forced Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
