With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matouš Carda scored 2-6 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiago Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFC - Curitiba walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
