A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Criciúma Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Evelio Antoniano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deilmison van Basten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Joe Gonzalovich in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Gaétan Govou. Evelio Antoniano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 78th minute of play. Evelio Antoniano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 82nd minute of the match. Evelio Antoniano made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Deilmison van Basten sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Deilmison van Basten made a precise shot to the right of Evelio Antoniano. Criciúma Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-12. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Criciúma Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Evelio Antoniano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th match minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitor Beckenbauer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ATHLETICO PRaiano's zone, Eriz Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Sousa came out of the goal and Eriz Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded ATHLETICO PRaiano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Criciúma Esporte Clube.
