São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save São Paulo F.C. from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Frascuelo. São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save São Paulo F.C. from getting a goal against them. When Ronaldo Crispín, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 10 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Radowit Pluciennik was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Wanderson Melo took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radowit Pluciennik. Radowit Pluciennik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When São Paulo F.C.'s Dirk Snabl in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute Dirk Snabl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Pluciennik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Spencer kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Radowit Pluciennik came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo F.C.'s Dirk Snabl. But to his dismay, Dirk Snabl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s zone, Celso Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radowit Pluciennik came out of the goal and Celso Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Faieta came free, but Tiago Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radowit Pluciennik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Snabl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radowit Pluciennik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dirk Snabl's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The São Paulo F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when São Paulo F.C.'s Dirk Snabl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd minute of the match, Domenico Faieta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiago Godoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Radowit Pluciennik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Godoi made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Alberto Spencer sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Spencer got free with Tiago Godoi in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiago Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Israel Frascuelo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Fabiano Borel was substituted for Alberto Spencer. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabiano Borel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Israel Frascuelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Paulo F.C. the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in São Paulo F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The supporters of ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ booed when São Paulo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Snabl didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Faieta in the 60th minute of play forced São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s Marco Llorienzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radowit Pluciennik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marco Llorienzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Radowit Pluciennik made a huge save. Tiago Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenico Faieta's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Ronaldo Crispín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Pluciennik having to interfere. After a rather tough play, São Paulo F.C.'s Celso Gerber got a free kick in the 85th minute. Radowit Pluciennik made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ronaldo Crispín sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute of the match São Paulo F.C. got a corner. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celso Gerber ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led São Paulo F.C.'s Celso Gerber to fire away a dangerous shot which Radowit Pluciennik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 94th minute, Wanderson Melo made a precise shot to the right of Radowit Pluciennik. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 97th minute, Ronaldo Crispín left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São Paulo F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The São Paulo F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing São Paulo F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
