Lu Bin Yuan took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir Araújo. Waldir Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Bierhoff in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Araújo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Bin Yuan came free, but Waldir Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Lamberto. Hilario Janpier's late challenge caught a Los Delfines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Janpier helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C. S. Peron y Belgrano getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hilario Janpier hit a great ball. After 45 minutes, Hilario Asteri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Delfines and the C. S. Peron y Belgrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hilario Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The C. S. Peron y Belgrano players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Delfines were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Lamberto to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Los Delfines got a corner. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Luis Brown ran over to the corner to take the kick. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Lamberto in the 56th minute of play. Los Delfines made a substitution. Zachary Pliszka replaced Oliver Bierhoff. Los Delfines's Victor Jerrold was substituted for Oran Gutti. Zachary Pliszkas short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Waldir Araújo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hector Abadia might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldir Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Abadia ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to C. S. Peron y Belgrano getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eulalio Marino hit a great ball. When Zachary Pliszka came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Los Delfines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachary Pliszka couldn't finish the play. Waldir Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Pliszka, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Zachary Pliszka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zachary Pliszka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Waldir Araújo made a huge save. Hilario Janpier hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Jerrold got free with Waldir Araújo in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92ndth minute of the game Zachary Pliszka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Waldir Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Los Delfines's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
