The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Palos in the 10th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiquito Benítez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquito Benítez in the 12th minute of play forced Tiburones Pacufantásticos's goalkeeper Elvio Lada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Chiquito Benítez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Lada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Lada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquito Benítez in the 19th minute of the match. Elvio Lada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquito Benítez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Mandiyu's Serafin Caitano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fulgencio Tajo, made in the 33rd minute of the game. After 36 played minutes Tiburones Pacufantásticos got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Orlin. 37 minutes into the match, Tiburones Pacufantásticos's goalkeeper Elvio Lada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquito Benítez. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Klement Lech hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Hermelando. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Chiquito Benítez made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Emanuel Orlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiburones Pacufantásticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Mandiyu the free kick. A collision led to Tiburones Pacufantásticos getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Emanuel Orlin hit a great ball. Eulalio Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Mirande in the 61st minute of play. Chiquito Benítez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Lada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Deportivo Mandiyu's Arne Bronco was substituted for Leonides Remir. After 68 minutes Tiburones Pacufantásticos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pipis Vattimos who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Mandiyu's corner Pipis Vattimos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elvio Lada quite easily take care of the ball. In the 68th minute, Valentin Palos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Benigno Larpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Larpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Lada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Benigno Larpe made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvio Lada was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the game, one of Tiburones Pacufantásticos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 83 minutes into the match, Tiburones Pacufantásticos's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Larpe came free, but Elvio Lada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Lada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Larpe in the 85th minute of play. Deportivo Mandiyu's Benigno Larpe got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Benigno Larpe sped through Tiburones Pacufantásticos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elvio Lada. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian got control of the ball when Justo Mirande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
