In the 6th minute Liu Hui Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gu Xuan Xiong to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jørgen Eisland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Randkleve's supporters rose to their feet, but Jørgen Eisland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralph Roeles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Hui Qi in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Claudinei Barral got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ralph Roeles made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ging Gang sent off a good shot on target. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Jan de Vlieger got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jan de Vlieger sped through Randkleve's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucjan Sedzikowski. Ralph Roeles made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ging Gang sent off a good shot on target. Bengt Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The Randkleve players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liu Hui Qi was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tarvi Koop hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Randkleve lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
