The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ralph Roeles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Käller in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Bengt Petersson got a free kick in the 14th minute. Wilhelm Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 16th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Jan de Vlieger came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Jan de Vlieger in 24 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Wilhelm Galle guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Käller in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralph Roeles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the match, Sebastian Käller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralph Roeles. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Käller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Sebastian Käller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Roeles having to interfere. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kind of Blue were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan de Vlieger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Zhuo Ke Le cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ralph Roeles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 54 minutes, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Käller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ralph Roeles made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Ralph Roeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel Kimman to maneuver through the defense. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Östen Högman replaced Zhuo Ke Le. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Karel Kimman got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Håkan Mild hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Mild to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Petersson in the 73rd minute of the match. When Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Kind of Blue fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sebastian Käller took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralph Roeles. Ralph Roeles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. After 93 minutes of play, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralph Roeles was left in no man's land by his defense there!
