Noureddine Sanchis might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Markku Ruhanen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noureddine Sanchis ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Sanchis in the 7th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Markku Ruhanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markku Ruhanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clovis Hénot in the 9th minute of the match. Markku Ruhanen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noureddine Sanchis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Noureddine Sanchis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Markku Ruhanen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 0-2 became the score in the 20th minute when Noureddine Sanchis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Noureddine Sanchis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markku Ruhanen was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's corner Pascal Laadal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Markku Ruhanen quite easily take care of the ball. Noureddine Sanchis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Markku Ruhanen came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Clovis Hénot. But to his dismay, Clovis Hénot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noureddine Sanchis in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markku Ruhanen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noureddine Sanchis made a kick off. Markku Ruhanen stood somewhat misplaced when Noureddine Sanchis came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 51 minute. Clovis Hénots short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Markku Ruhanen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Liverpool FC defense, Noureddine Sanchis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markku Ruhanen. The Liverpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markku Ruhanen should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Clovis Hénot managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's supporters rose to their feet, but Clovis Hénot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markku Ruhanen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Milan Froněk managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Viljami Virtala in the 67 minute of the game. After 67 minutes, Kustavi Peltola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool FC and the LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Kustavi Peltola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clovis Hénot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's attentive Milan Froněk managed to snatch the ball when Viljami Virtala made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. In the 71st minute Noureddine Sanchis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markku Ruhanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clovis Hénot got free with Markku Ruhanen in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elmer Harjanne lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Elmer Harjanne hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clovis Hénot came free, but Markku Ruhanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noureddine Sanchis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Markku Ruhanen made a huge save. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
