Thanks to some nice moves Rei Pelé could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Nacho González however easily saved by the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Rei Pelé dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nacho González, 1-0. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Svan in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Astillero del Guayas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rei Pelé fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Astillero del Guayas from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Mattias Svan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacho González showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rei Pelé in the 67th minute of the match. Mattias Svan took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lev Yashin. Lev Yashin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Nacho González showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Baleren in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Fermin Baleren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rei Pelé blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nacho González having to make a save. Nacho González took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rei Pelé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Mattias Svan sent off a good shot on target. Rei Pelé blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nacho González having to make a save. In the 88th minute, Rei Pelé ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nacho González was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Nacho González stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rei Pelé's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Rei Pelé who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Rei Pelé left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
